It's bad enough when anyone else feels comfortable enough to do it but it really grinds my gears when loved ones feel it's okay to let off an airhorn within earshot of me....

If its not smelly I don't care just laugh... But those ones that clear rooms and peel paint are agitating

It bothers me, I can feel a fart coming 99% of the time. So I'll walk into an empty room most of the time, to be polite. In case it is a smelly one. When people just let it rip, I think it's rude. You knew it was coming.
My dad does it all the time in front of any family member.
I'll do it in front of my wife and daughter. She's funny...she will say,"Daddy did it" (keep in mind shes 4 months shy of 3 years old).

I haven't farted since giving up grains and dairy. And the wife never did pass much. My house is pretty much fart free! But it never bothered me anyway, at a neighbors or whatever. People gotta fart when they eat fake food. It rots and poisons their insides and the gas has to go somewhere. Or we could just all stop eating fake food and quit farting altogether. What a concept.
Nobody in my family really does that around me, mabe I'm just not around. But last year while in Mcdonalds an OLD man let one loose damn near on the table my gf and I were eating on, I wanted to pull his off his shoulders and stuff it right in his hole, I didn't.
Depends on how it was set up . I'm with gangster on this , let it be funny . theres plenty to be serious about without worrying about fart ethics .
