Yeah, i've seen that video too... but that works mainly when there is only one hornet, and they kill it so that the hornet can't relay the bees nest back to the hornets nest...

I guess as the saying goes, where theres a will theres a way, and mother nature always has a way of balancing things out...

Yeah, but one of the things I admire about those bees (and about so many creatures) is they didn't care they were gonna die, they just fought with everything they had to protect their hive, even if it wasn't enough...

Yeah, well if the Jap hornets had stayed in Japan, it wouldn't be a problem for the Euro bees...

but they did stay in japan. Japanese honeybees are hard to raise and make less honey when compared to european honeybees so most beekeepers in japan use european honeybees.
