Would a TSN be a good tank mate with a Jardini Arowana? My Jardini is 2-3" and is in a 75G grow out. Have a 180G ready for when he out grows it. Any thoughts?
Thanks

I'll second the size thing. I have 2 TSN and had them in the same tank as my Peacock Bass. Very close in size and one night one of the peacocks went missing and the TSN had the fat belly. Their mouths are huge. At 10" and 14" the TSN heads are 1/3 of their body. Large capacity for food. As for the Jardini, I am not sure, have researched but never owned one. Good luck though, if anything I would try and keep the TSN smaller then the Jardini but either way that is an expensive feeder.

The Jar would have to have a large head start on size or the TSN will eat it. I have a TSN with a Jar but the Jar is about 14" and the TSN is 9"ish. They seem to ignore each other, but I know the TSN would eat him given the chance.

It is really trial and error. But just off hand I do not see a problem.

Not being rude, but that is bad advise. My opinion is based on direct experience, not quite sure if your is. There are other factors that need to be taken in to exeption. Like the point that the TSN will grow to over 36"+ and the Jar only 24", makes the Jar a giant hot dog for the TSN. Also the point that the TSN grows over twice as fast as the Jar.

Like others said. If they are proper sizes it should work. Every fish is different. Never know until you try.

Thanks for the advice! It helps to hear it from someone who already has the combo. Ill definitely hold of until the Jar reaches at least 8-10".
Thanks again everyone for the advice
