Lol I had 5 125's, 1 180, and 6 75&55g tanks in an upstairs apartment and it was just fine. Think about how much water beds weigh, appliances... Etc.
What, they think a tank is standing on a pencil? It's actually more distributed than a washing machine or refrigerator if the stand is built correctly.
Anyway, a 75 gal. is my favorite footprint tank. The extra 6 inches of depth is well worth it for the 75 over the 55. You can keep a lot more different species in it that won't fit in a 55. The 75 is the standard tank I'd recommend people wanting to keep CA/SA's.
