Well everyone's different bit a fire eel wouldn't suffer in a 125 given the proper treatment...maybe after its over 3ft..but that will be a.long time my friend.....125 would be fine for two years at least....people have keep aro's in 125 over two feet that's cruel! So what's wrong with starting the eel in the 125 till it outgrows it?

get a tire track eel.. I have one he 10" and they don't get a huge as a fire eel..

Agreed but will easily get over 2ft as well! But its your choice...fire eel IMO has better coloring....tire track does have a cool pattern that may or may not fade away as it gets larger
