Is this a Sunfish or Native fish at all?

Hi,


At this one LFS the guy knows that I like to see the random fish they get in with their feeders and ghost shrimp. He usually puts them in 2 tanks off to the side. Today he told me he put a new fish in there. I decided to get it but not sure if it is even a native fish. Looks like a cichlid to me. Anyway what do you think?

Maybe we will have some good picture if you put the fish in tank? Looks like a tilapia to me.

Yeah before you even wrote that I was thinking a tilapia.

Is the shipment come from Florida? If so then it's tilapia. I always love the surprises in feeder tanks.

I am not sure where it is from. I have gotten 4 swamp darters from their feeder tanks. Also there is 2 shiners still there but I have no interest in them.
