i will be doing a night time vid without any other lights on to get the full effect of the lighting.

It's 3 am here. And my speakers were on. ka-boom.

Good to see more pictures and videos of LED setups, too much hypothetical discussion going around.

oh ya...i am a meatalhead:headbang2 forgot to add that tid bit.

so far this has been working. i love the led lighting systems and i will be converting all my tanks to led.

how are the plants growing under the led lights, and I am guessing you like the brand of led you bought from that store on ebay? I was looking at buying the same type

Im interested to know what the Kelvin on LED lights are? And how long the actual housing will last...

I know led light bulbs last in 10K + hours, but always curious about the housing...

Although yesterday i was told by my LFS about an led setup where you could select light intensity, colors, and timer all in one... But supposedly cost over USD 1000 for a 24" setup

they all seem to be doing well. i just got it cause i wanted a light, didn't care about brand. after getting it i liked it so i got another 4' and will be getting several more to do a complete lighting convertion on all my tanks.

this light is at 6500k. i have a 4' at 6500k and will be getting several more. it is all corotion resistant so it should last for a long time. so far all is well.

^ thanks for the info... seems decent enough... guess i may also start slowly looking into LED lighting for my future setup...

hmmm guess LEd is the future then....always thought the light wasn't intense enough to grow plants....hopefully the old lights will drop in price so I can get a new one for my 20 gallon ;]
