Here is a close up body pic. To me, the oddest characteristic is that he has a really deep chest. His mouth and eyes look to be very Convict, but his forehead seems too steep for a convict.

The fish really does look like convict. I am betting you have an a. Siquia variant. Google a. Siquia and take a look at Sam Bernstein's articles/pics.
Interesting suggestion. I will definitely read up on this variant and see what I can put together. One thing is for sure, there is certainly Convict in this fish.
Looks to be a con not a hybrid. The coloration on its sides is not random it kind of follows the lateral line. It's face looks a bit longer than a regular con face though.
