A really nice ornate imo are the wild caught ones that show green. not an ornate guy but i like the ones showing green

Sorry "Take Notes" i find yours not very attractive. They color is dull not not showing big contrasts. What do you feed them? Just pellets? Try better food, that will give them better colors.

Typical ornate, my lfs has some really nice looking ones next to the ropefish. Their tanks kind of highlight or complement eachothers.

That's a nice Ornate, but nothing special really. Their coloration gets much better if you have dark substrate.
For example, this is an Ornate I used to own. This pic belongs to Andri Pogo, it's former owner.

OP, your ornate is meh. Its an ornate. All ornates are nice. Your marking do not stand out really at all except on fins. Body markings are poor and head markings seem lacking. But, its an ornate and all ornates are awesome.
