I used to send basketball cards to NBA players to have them autographed. I had a bunch of them (mostly from 90s star players), like David Robinson, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Larry Bird, Pat Ewing. I don't know if any of them are authentic or not, but it was a great feeling getting my card back signed. My favorite player was Magic and anybody on the Lakers, but nobody on their team ever returned my card.

Dude that's awesome how do you send them? Those cards must be a fortune now

I sold almost all of them to my friends back in junior high. I just have the David Robinson one left.

If you want to mail cards to players, just find the mailing address of the team and put the players name on the envelope. The addresses should be easy to find online. Then just write a quick letter telling him you're a big fan and would appreciate if he could sign your card for you. I always put in a cheap basketball card (in case they never mailed it back) and a self-addressed stamped envelope. So hopefully, they'll sign it and put it in the envelope you gave them and drop it in the mail box.

I also remember getting a Karl Malone autograph when he was with the Jazz. He was cool because he signed my card and then he sent me a Jazz bumper sticker and team photo.

I used to collect Basketball cards when i was young, non signed though... now a days i collect art from different artists i've met / know...
