FYI for anyone looking for sturgeon food. The Hikari sturgeon pellets are the best food that I have come across. The fish put on a lot of weight and grow fast! A vendor on this site Affordable Aquatic Supplies sells it.

are you guys using some sort of power head for current in your tank?

are you sturgeon very active swimmers??? do they swim up and down the side of the tank alot??? are these signs of stress and problems???

they just get to big, i'd love to have one but i'd have to get an extremely massive tank which i may never have, my largest tank is a 125 gallon tank and that isn't even sorta big enough

It really depends on the species of sturgeon, the biggest get to be in excess of 12' and one stays less than 12" , a shovelnose sturgeon or a sterlet are good choices, they stay smaller and can easily be kept in a 125.

Please stop giving bad advice to peopel here
