The Before and after fish picture thread

great pics. I think its awesome that the angel lives with the nastier oscar and jack dempsey's without getting nipped/killed.

Sad to say the Angel lost his life two days ago.... Not from any fish in the tank , but the mean ol new 900GPH overflow, sucked him in the input,but the screen kept him from going down the pvc. Poor guy... Ticked me off to. None of the fish bothered him...

How slow to flag tails grow? I got one about 2 months ago and I don´t think its grown any more than 1cm. its bulked out but not actualy got any longer.

they grow slowly but surely.

mine has gone from 1 inch to 7 inches in about 2 years in my 65g planted

you can see him in the front of the tank when he was little in the bottom pic vs the upper one taken about two months ago (??). not a great pic though.

i see, they are slow growers mine seems to be bulking up not getting longer, but at least I know hes healthy. He doesn´t eat anything I put in he just eats the algae all day long.

and guys these fish are looking great, that super red severum is really really nice. lets keep the before and after pics coming people! remember it can be fish you owned a long time ago, not just your recent fish!
