Me and the wife was talking today. I told her I stopped at the LFS and got a few things.

I told her I asked the owner about changing over to a salt water set up on the 220G. Hmmm.. She said why don't you set up a salt water tank. So I tested the waters... lolol.. I have a 55 in the basement I told her. Um chit chit that didn't fly....lol

She said no not that big. Why don't you set up the small 29 high and try it out to see what it's like.... Hmmmm

I'll take it..... weeeeee.... I think I'll give it a try.....

I have never had a salt water tank so this sounds like a good idea... And She Said So... :)

Cool, you can do some neat things with small salt water tanks. Are you going to try a mini reef or go all fish?

Congrats! After having a 55g for a few years, my wife has finally really started getting into the hobby. She let me buy a 15g quarantine and is letting me get a 125g in a week. Now she wants the 55g back for her to have cichlids, as well as one of those 29g salt water setups. Almost have her talked into something where I can house a RTCxTSN. :D It's great when your wife can enjoy your hobby as much as you do!

My parents always say that they will never get me a other tank after they get me a tank. Well it never happens, i have 200 gallons in freshwater aquariums and no salt water tanks. They agree to let me have a 30 gallon in top of that in a few months. In a couple of years I will have to get a 75 gallon tank for my Asian upside down catfish.

Go for it... congradulations on the very sweet smart wife..

Lucky bastard :grinyes:

lol .. I felt like I was asking Mom for a piece of candy... :)

I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Never had a salt water set up. Maybe I should try the reef out first?? I am a beginer for salt water.

She said yes and that's all that counts... :)
