What is the MINIMUM tank size a Delhezi should be kept in? How big do they even grow? haha. I've heard 14" but I'm not too sure. Thoughts and replies will be appreciated :) Thank you!

They would be fine in a 75g, IMO. Anywhere from 10"-14" depending on whether it was WC or CB.

Awesome, thanks a lot. I'm starting to really get into MFK and it's cool that one of the moderators replied to my thread. Are you speaking in terms of the fish being alone in the tank or even with tankmates? And how would you be able to tell if it is a WC or CB? What does that mean anways..? haha. And what's IMO? I see it everywhere. Sorry for all the questions! It'd be great if you could answer them :) Thank you again!

WC = Wild Caught
CB = Captive bred ( mostly in Asia and they stay smaller than wild caught fish)
IMO = In my Opinion

You could have some tank mates in a 75g with Delhezis,but not many. Maybe some smaller cichlids.
Hope i helped :)

My two dels were 5 and 6" when I got them a year ago. Now they're 10 and 11" and still growing. Both were wild caught.
You have lots of options for tankmates in a 7f. Spotted climbing perch, other polys, ropefish, syno catfish, severums, kribs to name a few.

Kribs aren't gonna last long with Dels..and Ropefish should be at least the size of the poly..

Wild Caught (WC) tend to look more gray and have more of a pointier head. Patterns usually are bold solid strips.

Captive Bred (CB) show more green and the head is more blunt. Their patterns can be irregular.

A 75g is a good tank size for their size and activity level. If you're looking for tankmates, they are quite docile and will leave fish alone providing that they don't look like food. You can definitely keep them with other fish in the 75g as long as you have sufficient filtration. I'm currently keeping 2 Delhezi, 2 Polli, and 1 Albino Sen in a 75g with other tankmates as well.

Awesome thanks a lot guys! I've kept an endli and ornate before but had to let them go because I know they'd outgrow my 110 along with my indo dat. So I guess my CB delhezi will be happy in my tank! As keepers of polys do you guys prefer WC or CB? What about specifically with the delhezi specie? WC or CB?

I saw a wc del the other day and it looked way better than my Cp dele. colors were darker with bolder stripes. my cp del it's lighter with more of a green head and subdue marks. still love my Del tho. great personality
