Ohh.... I knew that lol. Do females come out blue-ish to sometimes? And are pink cons hybrids?
 
Females do sometimes develop blue. Pink cons contain a leucistic (don't know if the spelling is correct) which affects the colour of the fish. This gene is naturally occuring and has been selectively bred to develop a line of pink cons. I think anyways. They are not hybrids however.
 
Why haven't you hatched out any brine shrimp? They can live on the yolk sack for a day or so. You had time to hatch some if you were aware the eggs were laid.
