I have a family death so I am going to be gone for ten days overseas on march 1st.

My overstocked tank setup is 120gallon: 10 inch frt turtle, 2 datnoids 6inch &10inch, 2 red severum 4inch &6inch, 2 parrot fish 6inches, 7inch flag tail. 4 clown loaches 7inches.

I just did a water change today feb 27th. I am going to starve it 2 days prior of leaving which is march 1st. At the day of departure, i am going to do a 50% water change. So it will be a total of 12ish days without food and 10 days without water change.

what do u guys think? any suggestions?

I am mostly worried about my clown loaches. I been feeding it everyday last week to fatten all my fishes up.

I dont trust any fish sitters. I will know they willl over feed and do something stupid. I just want my tank to be on auto pilot. I mean, this is a test to see how my fish tank do.

Your not worried about the turtle going after the fish if he gets hungry? You could try a automatic fish feeder but 12 days is do able as long as your fish are healthy and water is pristine. Another thing is make sure your filter is good to go as well, I would service it. Make sure there is no change of it clogging and to get all the crap out of the sponge.

my turtle will only bite fishes that will sit still and not swim away. he is very slow.

I have the eheim auto feeder, but my pellets are in different sizes so some will not fit. the settings are daily feeding only. I am not even worry about hunger. I just want to make sure that my water is clean. worst fear is to have a fish dead and no1 to scoop it out.

Actually I do just the oposite of you, I actually power feed the fish for three days straight (pellets and minnows), and on the last day feed lightly to make sure all the food has been eaten, then do a 70 percent water change, and that usaually good for two week, from my experience.
By the way, how is your Leichardt coming along. I am not sure who said they grow faster than silvers arrowans, but this one is either growing extermely slow, or I am rusing him. lol He eats arrowana stick and rosies everday and he swims againt the current that magnum 350 makes in this little 20gal tank, and he maybe 3 1/2 to 4''.
Sorry didn't mean to jack your thread....

Here's what I always do on vacation: I put food in small containers (baby food's containers; those rectangular plastic boxes or small jars) with posted-it notes on them instructing my Mom/Dad when to dump into the tank. I have three tanks so I placed the exact number of the food containers on each tank for the number of days I was gone. I always have my parents skip every other day because I don't want them to stop by every day.

Another instruction usually left for my parents is: net out whatever that is not moving in the tanks (being left over food or dead fish).

HTH, and good luck. Sorry to hear about loss in your family.

My lei died. Got sick 1 day for no damn reason & died. Sigh i give on aros. My bro in laws died & he bought the last 1 on aquabid.

Im afraid 70% water change might shock the fish! I been power feeding it past 1.5 weeks.

Oh, man i am so sorry to hear about your Lei, that sucks. Don't give up though, why not try a nice Black Arro?
As for a 70% water change, I don't think it will shock the fish as long as the tempature is not that much different. It won't effect you bio capacity at all, but what it will do is get all ammonia and Nitrites out if there is any and lower you Nitrate tremendously. So while you are gone, your tank has some wiggle room with waste as your fish are there with no water change for two weeks. I do it any time I travel. Or maybe do a 50-60 percent change if you are concerned about the 70%, but I would try and do as much as possible or do a 35% water changes for two days.
