Movie Endings That Sucked

what good movies got ruined by a sucky ending for you?

for me recently, Puss in Boots. i got kids so i get to watch all of these cgi movies. It had a decent start, an ok plot but the ending just kind of fizzled out and left me disappointed

also what comes to mind is The Villiage although overall i enjoyed it and bought the dvd. I thought it was a pretty entertaining all the way through until the end was revealed.

and from what i remember, No Country for Old Men
 
also I Am Legend

and Hancock. I liked the idea of a drunk superhero flying around effing stuff up. but then he meets the hot blond and they will die if they come into close contact?? that's what happens in a real life marriage
 
the new War of the Worlds movie also. i never seen the old one all the way thru, just remember parts of it as a kid. but the new one's ending left me all wtf-like.
 
harry potter dammnit. the ending sucked. I was imagining the death of Voldemort to have more zing to it.
 
Also Troy man

the biggest wuss in the movie gets his loyal, righteous brother killed. and one of the most badasses of greek mythology, Achilles, gets killed by, guess who? the wuss' arrow to the heel which the wuss only started practicing the night before. HATE THAT GUY Paris. his home destroyed, his brother dead, his brother's wife a widow, his dad dead, achilles dead. AND he gets the girl

To me this didn't have too bad an ending.I was left with the impression that the assassin was badly injured but actually got away which rarely happens in movies...It does suck though when a movie ends and we are left to guess or imagine how the characters end up so maybe I'm just being biased because I enjoyed No country for old men so much.
