and Hancock. I liked the idea of a drunk superhero flying around effing stuff up. but then he meets the hot blond and they will die if they come into close contact?? that's what happens in a real life marriage

The alternate ending is much better.

hmm the only movie I can think of that I recently watched where I thought ok... this wont be bad.... the ending totally killed the movie for me was the new planet of the apes...

The theatrical ending for Paranormal Activity sucked, the original one from the Sundance Festival was much much better.

Funny thing is Javier Bardem,the bad guy,has never played such a role before.He is mostly a romantic film actor but he pulled it off so well.Like you,I was a little disappointed at the ending at first but then I thought,"How often does a guy kill off half the people in the movie and get away with it?'

Its funny you say that about Bardem, I'd never heard of him before No Country, but now I see him everywhere in romantic movies... But, I had the same reaction to NCFOM... The first time I watched it, I felt the the whole ending was building up to a massive battle of wits and guts between Jones and Bardem, and then when it just ended I was like WTF?! Then when I thought about it and watched it again, I really appreciated it.

Jaws 3 & 4 had terrible endings

LOL, the thing is, i WANT to like his movies so badly, I love his sense of artistic shots, the movies are visually beautiful, but he REALLY needs to let someone else choose the script and direct...
