I know it's awful. I couldn't believe how much bigger it got from when I left and when I got home. I've been reading other stories about fish with Popeye and some of those fish were a lot worse believe it or not. I'm not going to lie, it was kinda hard for me to spend 40 dollars on medication for a $5 fish but that sure didn't stop me from helping him. I'm hoping for the best. Hes swimming slowly and not moving much but he did eat. So all I can do is keep up with the medication dosages and water changes.

Yeah I can see that and it looks terrible not sure what's causing that though. I'll try and research a little bit to see if I can come up with anything

Ok thanks I appreciate it. I have been doing research myself and have read stories and seen pictures of fish with even bigger eyes than my fish. I can't imagine it getting any bigger...I'm hoping for the best I started treatment within 12 hours of the slightest sign of Popeye.

its either bacterial infection or too much nitrification... normally being relieve by applying some Epsom Salt to remove excess fluids in it.... however, i am not sure how effective salt will be if you had applied some medicine already! i would not recommend applying salt at this point!
