To be honest, didn't know of the red tail payara until now, maybe because it's rare?looks like an armatus.
to the OP: i'm surprised you found a picture of a wild caught red tail (tatauaia), the 8th picture down.. almost 99% of the time we see pictures of armatus or the rhaphiodon vulpinus
maybe the name ur thinking of is the wallacei i believe?
