On my home from work last Friday, my 14 Y.O. daughter calls and says the lights and glass top are inside the 135. Do you want me to get them out? No. Don't put your hands in the water, the lights are plugged in. When I get home, I discover the center brace has separated and fallen in, casing everything on top of it to fall is as well. The tank is only 1.5 years old, so I call the place where I got it. They say, bring it in and we'll give you a new one. Luckily, my LFS had a tank I could keep the fish in for the weekend, so it was a mad dash to pluck them all out get get them there before they closed. Fast forward to today. I drove the hour and a half to the store where I bought the tank, picked it up, plus 2 T5 lights that didn't survive,(also replaced for free), got home set it up,(kept the canisters running in ice chests for the weekend so they wouldn't dry out), filled it with my saved water from the old tank, and tomorrow I get to pick my fish back up. I was glad to discover there are still some stores out there who will stand behind what they sell(where I bought the tank), and also some that will help out their loyal customers when they get into a jam(my LFS). I almost have renewed faith and hope for the human race.
