Whoa he's crazy looking! Is that a genetic trait or is he just an oddball?

It's genetic trait, i've tried the long fin's in the past but couldn't get them to last long. This guy has been going good for almost 2 months and is growing like the typical oscar. 
Whoah! nice tank, my tank is smaller and has a similar desgin but has black gravel, i hope the oscar doesn't beat up the angel when it gets older, and those are great loaches.

So I guessing they are somewhat harder to keep than your average Oscar? Regardless your guy looks awesome!
