I used to have little interest in rainbow fish... thought they were boring and ugly. I used to hate all synodontis catfish. I also hated discus fish. I'm warming up on these fish.

I used to hate peacock basses.. I can't understand why that was. Now I can just sit there and watch them.. best color you can get in your FW tanks besides having cichlids imo
I used to HATE Oscars, I don't know why. But then I fell in love with the Albino Tiger Oscars, and ever since then I think they're all pretty cute!
Regular tiny guppies! They are perfect as crab food but they aren't an eyesore while they are alive
Clown Loaches, couldnt believe how expensive they were at large sizes. Then I found out how slow they grow lol
I used to hate snails, didnt want a single one in any of my tanks. Now I let my planted 10 g be overrun with ramshorns.
Also I used to hate planteds, now I think they are beautiful.
I used to hate nuchal humps, now if I ever get a FH its koks gotta be massive(without disabling the fish of course)

you guys just said it for me... i have 6 Oscars now infact oscars are the ones that gave a rebirth to my hobby after a long long time.. and found enuf CL's to last me frvr
... buying 2 pair tmrw and 8 pairs this month end... whoop whoop... i just love them now, although i neva kept them...
