carpintis x dempsey, anyone?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I would add them both at the same time. Either of them could become aggressive and that will give them a level playing field.

So you going to set me up with some fry if you make this happen? I would be down for some trading if interested. I miss my jd x tex so bad.

Alright, I'll move them at the same time.

There's a lot of if's here. I wouldn't get your hopes too high.

Still waiting for my friend to get rid of this wild caught barred midas eating up my 75g.

Just letting y'all know I'm still gonna do this. Waiting for the Texas to get a little more size on her before leaving her alone with the Dempsey...

Yes it's been done but from what I understand it's not too common. I want one so bad.
Here's a pic of a couple somebody posted on a different thread:

i used to have one. I t looks just like that. It was 9" and i gave it away

The two are happily living in the 75g. Feeding them tons of live food, woodlice and earthworms, and good dried food like NLS, HBH and more. About to do a large water change and bump the temps up slightly, along with an extra hour in their day.

Don't raise the temp that may increase aggression. When you do waterchanges use cooler water to fill, that way you are simulating a cool rain shower which will help stimulate the breeding instinct.

Still missing my dempsey x Texas.
