My first Protopterus aethiopicus aethiopicus. Need some good tips.

I have had many different fishes up in the time, but lungfish is completly new for me.
So i have some noobie questions to ask, if you have some answers. I really hope so:popcorn:
Maybe im writing a littel bit bad english, but im from Norway so i am excused:WHOA:

Can lungfish like snakes eat much on one meal, then not eat for several days or maybe upp to a week?
I have had my lungfish for 2 days, and i have not seen him eat something yeet, but i had eat som right before i bought him.

Do lungfish like dark aquarium or bright? I just have a daytime light now, but hes hiding in the shaddow from the bushes all day long.

I have him in a 325 liters aquarium, half full with water..
I have planted a forrest fore him, he lies there all day long. So it seems he like the forrest.
He hasent been much active yet, will he be that? I have planned to buy him som pipes so he can hide in too.

Do lungfish preffer to eat in morning, evning? With ligts off or on?
He seems to be more active as soon the light is off.

I will take all the tips that you can give me, im a littel bit worried that he hasent eaten yeet.

Yes, that's correct. I thought that I had included all of that in the ones that I made, so I'll have to get that added at some point.

Lungfishes prefer a low light environment, so you don't need to have that much light for them; the low lighting isn't going to work out well for most live plants, but lungfish tend to destroy most live plants anyway. In my experience, they'll eat during any time of day with the lights on or off; in your case, I would say that it will be easier to feed it a little bit after the lights go off for the night.

What are the dimensions of the aquarium by the way? I'm just trying to figure out what kind of footprint you have to work with as these fishes need more floor space than height.
 
Havent mesure him, but he is not big. He is probable around 25-30 centimeter. he will have bigger aquarium when his getting bigger. I mesure no2,no3,no4 to make sure he have the best growht condision.

He started to eat this morning,seems like he is not stressing now. Looking quite happy now actuely. Gonna get him some pvc pipes or pots today. He is more active now to, so its lokking good. Have putted in a littel darker ligt, sonits a littel darker too.
