He is pretty aggressive towards conspecifics like my robertsoni and will kill and eat smaller cichlids and targets/dithers.
I have never seen any other cichlid target another fish and bite chunks out of it to eat the whole thing. I've tried keeping swordtails and Terra's but they were all eaten.
