Florida Gar, Newmarket Ontario

Hey everyone, looking to buy a florida gar for my 150gal. Needs to be at least 8" as the tank houses a large 17" royal knifefish. Must be a florida gar. Anyone know where to get one around here? None of the lfs carry them unless someone brings one in from home. Any info would be great, thanks.

Well by now there probably all sold. I usualy call the lfs around my area and ask what large freshwater fish they have every now and then. Thanks for the heads up though.

there's a couple longnose gar on windsor kijiji. I frequently see floridas in the shops around here, but none this week.

Those aren't longnoses, just mislabelled floridas.

Mississauga big al's had a bunch when I went today. Dragon aquariums had a couple as well. So did oakville big al's.

I have a gar for sale. obo 12-14'' i really dont know exactly what kind. might be florida spotted or alligator lemme know what you think.
