tetras keep killing each other off

My tetras fight occaisionally but never kill eachother.

Are the fins shredded on the dead tetras?
I doubt it would be the pictus. In fact I had problems w/ tetras biting off barbles in the past.

i think i have out ruled the pictus he acts the same as when the massive sd was in the tank nothing died during that time and the tetras were not fighting during that time as if they were schooling with preds in the area but now my last red minor is deadwat must be done to end this nonsense?

the pictus is about the same size as the tetras they cant fit in his mouth at all so i dont think its him but wat should i do

added some fake leaves as a hideing spot and everything seems fine now
