New Green Silver Dollars

Love the dollars bro, I was thinking about picking some up too, just hesitant as you never know what they'll grow into. I bought the multi-barred juvenile SD's from Rapps in the past but they grew out into regular Red-Hooks . He told me in advance he wasn't sure about their id, so I took a chance. Still hopefully your SD's keep their green color and heck maybe they'll even grow out into my dream SD, Metynnis fasciatus. If I sell some of my fish I might pick them up in hopes that they are fasciatus juveniles. As it is I'm definitely buying a Apurensis or 2 from Jeff, been waiting for a small one of those guys forever and Jeff's got them at 3-4 inches right now. Darn you Jeff and your cool fish! Lol!

They definitely aren't Fasciatus, the hooks on the anal fins are huge now and the dorsals are also different than any other sd I've seen. They are growing quickly though and still that amazing green color.

very nice fish, there is also a sudden influx of sp. LA-MAX here in the philippines, don't know if they are a hybrid or something, but they are awfully expensive! like 250USD for a 3" to 4" in diameter specimen.

I'll post some new pics up tonight. They pretty much look the same just a little bigger and anal fins are much longer now.
