I was watching river monster yesterday,Jermy was fishing in argrntina. Any idea what kind of pirahna he was catching ?looked to have yellow on them and they were huge.some had to be 5" top to bottom

Sounds like Ternetzi (Argentina version of a pygocentrus natterreri AKA RBP).

That was the amazon giant lost tapes episode and it was 1ft+ black piranha.

I don't record he really hooked any p on the head but he did hook a rhom and a tern on the back if remember correctly.
