Nice stock man. A lot of those Viejas/Paratheraps' fins are really torn...why is that?

Fishes are not mines. I went over to visit to pickout a few fishes to filled tank that used to house Midas in my avatar.

Owner said he used to have them in a small pond when young and when he went to net them out all their fins was like that and just never grew back. Guess the fins were torn too deep.

That bocourti male has a really odd profile. Duck-like I guess I would call it. Great fins though.

I do feel bad for that argentea and regani. The C. myersi look nice.

It has amazing fins. Other than slight hump, which I never seen in bocourtis before and thick bottom lip/mouth it looks and behave normally. The argentaes, reganis, and bocourtis are at least 12" and together in a 700g tank. I still want that fish once it breeds and up for sell .

I agree. Have some 5-6" growouts from the argentae pair above and will be picking up young male from owner this weekend.

Nice collection! Myersi look great. In pictures 2 thru 7 what kind of cichlid is that?

Some kind of amphilophus. I'll have to ask owner again when I pickup the synspilum this weekend.

I saw a nasty neet in there. That might be the fin nipper in that tank. Awesome collection. Thanks for the nice pics.

Those neets are in a 150 something gallon tank with synspilum and carpintis growouts.
