flowerhorns don't make good alpha males from my experience, they tend to be rough on the smaller, less dominant fish. my jag in my tank is the alpha male atm. he's very gentle to everyone, just chases them once in a while, never really bite anyone.

at Bobo's...on Olive ave. There's a female there that I really want but she's not Vietnamese Kamfa.

Fishes differ from one to another. I have a Flowerhorn Kamfa and Fader pair with 2 little convicts which they dont bother. I've kept my Kamfamalau in a community before and he'd chase everyone around but not kill them (thus showing his supremacy).

Also Cichlids will be cichlids, lemme know when one day your Jag kills, lol. Its in their nature.

Alpha Male progression...lol, Some how he turned Yellow (Golden), wierd but it looks cool on him too. He still got the eyelashes. My GF calls him Flash = Flowerhorn x eyeLash.
