LED Spot or flood lights

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Like said before hardware stores carry high powered led floods which work fine for my plants. Im running a 9watt and its so incredibly bright

Probably do but they have high wattage or low lumen options right now none like what others and myself has posted in this thread. Gosh that ebay seller is stiffing me. I emailed and got no reply so I started a full refund request through ebay.

You're better off buying the led light without the floodlight casing around it. You can get a 10W high powered led with heat sink and led driver for around $10 off ebay. I have 4 of them in my 90 gallon and are plenty bright I also have a 10W blue one on each side for moon lights but I keep them on with the white ones it gives it a better look. These lights produce plenty of light for my plants they nearly tripled in size in the first month. There are plenty of led lights off of ebay that can be used for an aquarium and my electricity bill is only like a dollar more than it was before I had all my aquariums.

You can also get bigger than 10W lights if you choose i guess it just depends on what you feel will do for your tank and your budget. I have 2 100W on my saltwater tank and are doing great tremendous growth.

do you just rest the LED on your glass top then??? I agree those are the best deal I considering ordering them but don't I need a ballast of sorts? there is more to this than buying and plugging them into the wall.
