So I have my black aro eating carnisticks. Seeing him eat pellets is boring enough but the way he eats it makes it even more boring. He doesn't wait and SNATCH like my past aros did. He sorta is aggressive for his first few pellets then kinda slowly, slows down eating. He really gently takes a pellet. He even just watches it for a few seconds and moves it around with his barbels. (guess his mom never told him not to play with his food lol) With that said...
Another thing I'm not used to is, he doesn't eat a lot. IME, most fish will eat a lot and multiple times a day if given the opportunity. He'll eat Appx 3-4 pellets a day and seems pretty content till the next day. I try feeding him more than once a day, but he shows little to intrest.
I'm thinking its no appetite. I read giving them garlic will boost his appetite, should I try this method?
Anyone have any knowledge of this and how to change it?
Tested the water a few days ago and it was good, I still did my routine WC to make the water even better. Temp at 84*. Oh and he's been eating like that since i got him, Appx 3-4 weeks ago. I'm not too worried because he is eating. But I just want him to have more of an aggressive appetite.
