Great looking aquascape you've done! Good fish selection too. You don't see sparkling gouramis enough. Make sure to post updated pics when the livestock is in.
I agree, i kept some sparkling gouramis before, and they are gorgeous little fish that are very entertaining to watch.
That they are. Lots of personality. I have some in another planted tank of mine with some scarlet badis badis. Those are spunky beautiful nano guys too.

What size tank is this? I am thinking about doing a very small plant tank myself.. What type of lighting and filtration are you using? CO2?

This is a little 4gal. With a 13watt fluorescent light. I'm running it on an Ehiem Ecco 2232 (bit overkill) and a fluval 88 co2 kit. The thing is running great. It really isn't tough. Just takes care

Quick update, headed up to AFA today in the city and found some killer little fish for this tank. I got some maculata Rasbora, cherry red shrimp. And some freshwater flounder. I'm not sure exactly what the scientific name is on these guys. But I was told they reach a max length of 2 - 2.5". I also picked up some sparkling Pygmy gourami.
The plants are starting to take root and grow. And it's almost time to pull out the scissors!
