after a long journey of thinking I finally decided to go with a bare bottom tank. I've chosen not to use any gravels or sands because the amount of poops are just too much, that it will get traps under gravels or sands. Besides some of my fish are grown, and they tend to eat alot. Here is today's update, I put all the fish in, after scooping the out of my pond last night. There are 2 more azuls that will go in there in there next week.

I might put some back ground later on, or maybe not...

Looks great man! I am glad you decided to not put the big rock in front of the filter outlet. Yes, it is a great rock, but your waterfall filter is beautiful and quite unique. Great build!

Personally i can't stand bare bottom tanks... especially such a nice tank with some aquacaping would have looked fantastic...

But at the end of the day it is your tank, so who am i to say what you should do :)

Although, i will say if you went with a finer substrate, the poop and stuff would actually remain on top of it making it easy to clean...

thanks man, the rock is indeed way taking too much space, and I am keeping the rock for my next project.
