Figure this out I get the fish stable and eating. And then I get a ich break out. I can't catch a break. I have no clue where it came from. Tank parameters are fine. The tig was the only new addition. The only other thing was the water temp went from 80 to 75 overnight because I left the window open and it got cold. So know I am battling ich and hoping he makes it. I have to raise the temp which dissolves the oxygen in the water for the poor guyhits day 1 at 86F and the treatment. I went with herbtana so it wasn't to harsh. He is taking far better then my CL at least.

That will do it, CL are super prone to ich and need to be kept 80F+. In addition to raising heat to 86F+ also dose with aquarium salt(aka solar salt) and make sure you have an aerator running. Did the tig contract ich as well? I would have QT'd it in a tank of its own until it got a bit bigger and you knew it was eating for sure. I grew my tig out in a 40 gal, then moved it to a 150, and now its 17" in a 240. My brand new 360 is sitting in the garage and will finally be set up after I move on the 20th.
tigs dont do that well with salt or meds
keep the temp high and buy a UV the UV kills the ick in the free swimming stages
i wouldnt run a tank without a UV its best to be safe than sorry
