Is it possible to keep a Jar for life in a 220 comfortably? I've read the stick and it says 6x2.5x2. Here is my current setup:

220g planted
70g custom built acrylic sump

~250g of water up and running

You should be fine as long as he is by himself. Some people get lucky and can have tankmates but most dont. I know i didnt mine is vicious.

I've never yet kept a jardini, but I have heard of their reputation and sounds like 1bigdovii is right about tank mates! Your tank is beautiful by the way! But if the interior is staying the same when you add the jar, I would lower the wood that sticks up to the top, best to keep the top portion of the water totally open for the aros.

Tank dimensions? Honestly, I wouldn't try a Jar in that tank unless you started removing some of the decor/plants.

Just curious as to why you say no unless I removed plants and decor, considering Arowanas are a top water fish most of the decor is on the bottom of the tank. Tank is 72x24x30 tall

Less decor=more swimming space and my aro uses all of the height on my tank

Jardini are mid to top water fish, my silvers and black aro(all top water) cruise at about 4-6" below the surface. Add the 5-6" of fish height and the jardini will be amongst the decor. Would be fine for a few years but eventually you may find that a 24-25" jardini to be cramped in your tank.

Very nice aquascape BTW

Also you'll want to have a sealed and weighted top with arowana.
