Thorichthys sp. coatzacoalcos 'Mixteco Gold' Spawn.

My young pair of Thorichthys sp. 'Mixteco Gold' spawned, I haven't had these fish long, so the spawn wasn't expected so soon as I have struggled with these in the past. The eggs don't seem fertile, but at least its a start on spawning and eventually raising these rare cichlids. It could come sooner than expected with the second female showing interest to the male.

Thanks, they are quite small, male is probably 3.5/4" TL and the female 2.5-3" TL.

Cheers, I have bred meeki (Rio Subin & Laguna la Perdida), Macculipinnis (Rio Manso, Rio Dos), callolepis, socolofi and now mixteco gold. I am going to pick up some affinis and aureus soon, try get them crossed of the list.
