I agree as well, not a negro.. doesn't have the head shape, color or markings... Probably from that bogus batch that came in last year.

Wow, but these Rio's don't look like your Rio-Negro, Orinocensis1...Why is that, because all Rio-Negro's do not look exactly alike, that's why.
Lol well a solution to that problem is simple... its because these are adults and the one i posted is a 7" or so? As a matter of fact, the pic i posted is the SAME fish as in the last pic you posted. These are not my fish these were X-tanks. Lol its totally clear that the pic i posted is still a youngster, so observe the picture a bit better before saying something 
and yours CLEARLY does not have negro head shape, color or anything, sorry to dissapoint you. Thats why it is important to purchase rare fish like that from a vender with sources that have a good rep. Thanks and have a nice day!
