Just kidding. Kind of. Hahahah. I have never bought a tank new, both of mine were off craigslist $300 paid for EVERYTHING, tank/stand/canopy/filter/heaters/Coralife T-5 Lighting for my 100 gallon.

I can actually fit a 5 ft in for sure lol if i move my bed down a bit... but don't want to walk into the office with a sore back and head ache no thanks.

Any feedback on this? Anything I can improve to reduce future aggression? I want to make a cave for my GT, so he stays there... but I do not know, how to make a big enough cave I am bad with DIY...

I would just pile up some rocks to make a cave that the O's cant fit in, but the Saum can. But trust me, no matter what you do, your fish will always do the opposite. Its good that the he has some competition in there (the O's) this will encourage him to be the boss of the tank and therefore grow faster. My male Gold Saum outgrew my O over 3 months, and kept him in check. I certainly think he could grow to become a cracker!

well hes a bit nippy, VERY active... charges at one of the O's here and there, but nothing to serious... is this a good sign? Hes twice the size of the O's but no serious aggression... even when I give food...he waits his turn... he has not yet come fully to the top of the tank when I feed like my O's do...he comes sometimes.... prefers sinking pellets that go to him rather than he coming up.

But If he grows to fast, wouldn't that cause m O's to get stressed, even killed? I was thinking if the O's grew faster... it would balance out the aggressiveness?
