Ive had 4 leis over the years, and here they are at different ages

Very nice Jim! Do you still have any of your lei's?

nope, I got rid of them, arowana with normal aggression are difficult enough to community, it took me 4 times to realize, that adding a lei will ruin the rest of the community. Ive seen people do it, and Id love to see your thread filled with examples of lei communities, but Im not holding my breath. JL had a commune with a few in together, and A.IMPORTZ had the sick lei/black community, something like 10 of each all together

Hi Guys

is it better to keep on white or darker background?

look at the pics in carpsalmons post, its the post right above yours, leis over black are tough to beat

Thanks for the comments, I've had my lei with a silver that was 8 inches when the lei was 19 inches, they got along amazingly, i kept them together till the silver was 17 and they were perfect. I ended up giving the silver to a friend that really wanted it. SO it depends on the fish, my lei was also with a 3 inch flagtail til this day they are fine. The lei is an aggressive eater too, eats massivore, floating, shrimp, tilapia... that why I love that fish.
