I guess I'll play along:

  • 1x Ten Point Titan HLX crossbow
  • 1x .50 T/C Firestorm Flintlock
  • 1x .50 T/C Hawken Flintlock
  • 1x .50 T/C Hawken Caplock
  • 1x 16 gauge side-by-side shotgun (Not sure on manufacturer as it was made in Germany in the 1950's)
  • 1x 9mm Ruger P95
  • 1x .30-06 Winchester Model 70
  • 1x .30-30 Marlin
  • 1x .243 Remington Model 700
  • 2x .22LR (One older & one newer; not sure on manufacturer)
  • 1x .17HMR Mossberg 817

The crossbow, the blackpowder rifles, and the centerfire rifles have taken at least one deer a piece over the past hunting seasons. Of those deer, the crossbow & centerfire rifles have at least one buck a piece; I've lost track of does at this point, but we mainly hunt for doe with the crossbow & blackpowder rifles. Numerous groundhogs & other varmints have been taken with the rimfire rifles. The shotgun tends to just sit in the safe and hasn't been used for hunting in years. The pistol gets shot every now and then for target practice. I'm hoping to build a Saiga and/or AK this summer as well.

To many firearms to list.... Mostly hunt though with Mosin PU sniper for Pig, Elk, Winchester 1895 (7.62x54) for Deer, pig, Elk, Tula TOZ-120 for birding.
Not really a bowhunter.. Prefer to use an Atlatl for that when I can.

Wait!!! You use an atlatl? Dude, its official. You are baller!! Did u buy urs? What have you taken with it. Iv been wanting to learn. Already efficient with recurve and semi with compound, need a new challenge.

For op, I hunt mostly deer with my ruger m77 hawkeye in 270 and sometimes doves or squirrels, with a pump 20ga, pump 16ga(luv 16s) and bolt 22lr. I also have an ak, a handful of handguns and some bows.

Ryan, ever consider sellin the 16, please let me know.

I make my own Atlatl's and darts. 12,000BC technology should just be made by hand any other way is just wrong... Use it mostly for fish but have taken some ducks, geese, rabbits and other small game. Michigan unfortunately does not allow for take of deer or elk with the atlatl. I think we can take Pigs and Boar but I'm not that brave. Prefer rapid fire firearms for that one.....

Paleoplanet is a good start point... I trust you know how to use google....Do not have the URL on hand. Yes I Knap or fabricate my own tips too...

By the way, do any of you hunt with a slingshot? Considering getting one, not for hunting since I'm not 18, but still :)

Way too many guns for listing.

I enjoy most types of shooting sports, with bowling pin shoots (handgun), trap and skeet (shotgun) and target shooting (rifle) being the main ones I do. When I was in college I was on my university shooting team (.22 rimfire). I grew up hunting and fishing and still do some of that. I mostly bird hunt with some deer hunting in the fall.

Yes this past season was one of my worst hunting seasons as well due to the warm temps and lack of a true fall/winter/spring. Was in North Dakota last fall upland and waterfowl hunting and we really had to work for the birds we got. About a month ago was in South Dakota snow goose hunting and it was over 80 degrees everyday hunting!
