Know wut? I started watching it and got turned off. It was a bad time for me to try to watch it though when i did. I plan on finishing it since i didn't get to. there was too many distractions

But wut turned me off was all the cgi. I can do wire fu but too much cgi kills it for me. Only movie with alotta cgi i was ok with was A Man Called Hero. It was a great movie based on a chinese comic book

CGI would kill it for me too, even in the early 80s the use of wire is minimal, but it's still distracting to me. I guess it's just easier for me to see a little overcranking vs a bunch of made up stuff. Actually I think I'm close to having most of the good movies from the golden age of kung fu with the exception of mabe a few, (I saw a vhs copy of pedicab driver on amazon for $100! No thanks)

I have the 5 DVs, have mabe going to pick up the second one, the Reurn of the Five Deadly Venoms, have you seen that? Is that good?

I would say that it is really good but Return is a newer title that they came with for that film...When we first watched it years ago it was released as the Crippled Avengers but yeah,pick it up,it is well worth the hype that is on the DVD cover.

Thanks Krich, I will pick it up, I looked it up and most of the original cast is in it PLUS Chen Kuan Tai!

Yes Chen plays a pretty major role in the film but that's all I will say about him at this point....I have most of the films that this group of actors has done in this genre and my top three are Kid with the Golden Arm,Flag of Iron/Spearman,and Masked Avengers...good recomondations if you have not seen them yet.

^ Snake in the Eagle's Shadow is my favorite.
His version of the Drunken Master is also good.

I just got Snake in the Eagles Shadow last week and I really like it! THIS is the one I remember liking as a kid, lol, the infamous "snake fist" goodtimes. Drunken Master was really similar, I liked that one also. I have Young Master and Fearless Hyena on order now.
