180g Tanganyikan tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
LoL! yeah I kinda stopped and thought about that for a second when sunkenmetal mentioned it.... this tank has seen more livestock than some LFS.

I saw some really cool nano sized tiger cats up at FishRUs... I really want one now.

Lol. Be glad you dont work at a lfs, when i was at fr2 i was just as bad

I need to find a nice house first, finding one to fit the needs of two has been quite a task close to town. Everything we've found is stupid far on the outer skirts of town.

Your aquarium is very beautiful, nice contrast and you have some really nice looking fish. Do you have personality conflicts between the Tropheus and the Featherfins? I have heard that Tropheus can get a bit nasty, I have never owned them so I know virtually nothing about them. Just some tidbits I have picked up here and there. I currently have six O. Ventralis Chaitika juvies though, and they definitely rule the tank lol.

Great job!

Thank you for the compliments!

The Trophs worked ok. The only problem was floor space for the Cyatho to build their bowers and in full breeding suit the egg drop fins used to entice females to breed also brought on the vicious eating habits of the trophs. Other than that they are fine with each other, not the most ideal setting for a breeding tank unless you go bigger or use less hardscape.
