Snorkeling In Cuba

Very nice in the pics you have blue tangs, convict tangs, a queen angel or maybe just a really big angel, lionfish, parrotfish (male), and a barracuda. I think there was one or two I didn't know what they where.

To get underwater pics could I put my phone in a ziplock baggy? Or even just get a water proof iPhone case?

Looks like the lionfish disregard the embargo but there does not seem to be too many of them in that area.
.
It's too bad about that lionfish, though, since they've invaded parts of the Caribbean.
Yeah, that's what I was referring to in my post....
I didn't know that, is it bad?
I only saw the one while we were there

There's tons of them in the Bahamas. Nice to look at but hate seeing how prolific they've become.
I'm going down to Freeport in a few months and I'll be looking to see if any are around when I go snorkeling.

I wouldn't trust a ziplock baggie at all!
There are lots of waterproof cases on the market though. I bought one for my old camera before I had a waterproof one.
