the aggression level isn't horrible as long as there's nothing that can easily fit in it's mouth. What size is the fish because I feed mine massivore pellets but he is 18".

You probably scrolled down past them as you got to this thread. The catfish forum has great stickies with lots of info on big catfish. Def worth the read.
