My new 8"+ Banded Sevrum

I don't think you'll know what species he is. ;) If he's tank-bred, he's probably mostly H. efasciatus/H. appendiculatus. I had one that was the same color. He was a great fish and a great parent, but also pretty rough on my other tankmates. I still had a real soft spot for him.

Unfortunately the flash made him look more of a deep green color, but under tank lights he was a pretty steely blue.

Great looking fish! Even with the green! Whatever species mine is, I think he's quite attractive.

Looks male to me.

I picked up a fish just like the one you posted a few weeks ago, it was sold to me as a turquoise severum.

Great looking fish!

Thanks! The guy at my LFS that I bought this from didn't tell me what kind it was. We have a pretty casual business relationship, I say "i want that fish" he says "i'll bag it up". Somebody had just given it to him to get it out of their tank and he sold it to me for $5 just to get it out of his shop!

beat up A bit...it looks like a young male i have a pair of red shoulders (FM 3 INCH) (M 7 INCH)

Thanks! This is my first one and now I'm wondering why I waited so long!
