Ever seen a Endli with a fin like this?

This is one of my juvenile Endli bichir. Out of all the bichirs I've ever owned or seen I've never seen something like this before...

Just caged him up for a couple minutes to take the picture.

Most die from jumping out or heater malfunction. Basically poor care.

This guy is growing slower than the other Endlis I have him with btw

Notched spine is the term i've seen used most for this type of deformity. This isn't a very severe case, as you can tell by the fish being alive. It happens in a lost of badly bred fish.
