New Cichla Species available and some oddballs

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Can you update your site? im tryin to place a order but its not on the aquascape website

Those 2 spots are not orinos they are 2 spot monos and the bass in the 2nd pic is a mono

Very true about the 2 spot. I have one as well that's roughly 3-4" now and it def does not look like an orino. As far as the new kelb go I haven't seen a pic myself yet. But I'm placing an order tonight. So we shall see.

I have been told by a reliable source that F1 Araguia kelberi being sold in Asia are kelrinos. I have seen some on youtube if you type in F1 Araguia kelberi , and they look like kelrinos. I dont know what these fish for sale here are, or where they are from,Brasil or Asia. I hope they are wild fish, they would be awesome looking probably as adults, and a prize for our tanks. I am still seeking clarification of thier origin.

Some Pics,
I know MFK has almost 90,000 members, so there are always doubters, But when I post up Sheep pacu, Retroculus it has to say some thing. these are wild fish.
Arraguia Bass came down with ick so i will post pics up in a couple of days.

The big tell tale with monos and orinos is the tail. The lateral line on orinos does not go into the tail like it does on monos.

I do think the bahia actually look like a orino/bahia mix. I see both traits.
